Abstract

In the article, sleep disorders in children, insomnia, somnambulism, and their biological and psychological causes are analyzed. According to the research results, the disruption of the sleep schedule in children is often linked to improper sleep habits, family environment, and excessive use of gadgets. The main factors contributing to sleep disorders include nervous system strain, irregular sleep schedules, and psychological pressure. Based on modern pediatric approaches, recommendations for proper organization of sleep hygiene are provided. Methods such as creating a sleep schedule, bathing the child before bed, and reading a bedtime story are discussed. To improve sleep, attention is given to the child’s diet, increasing physical activity, and ensuring that the bedroom is quiet and dark. Furthermore, the article discusses the negative consequences of sleep disorders in children, such as the inability to concentrate, behavioral changes, and health problems. Statistical analysis results show that over 70% of the children in the study experienced sleep issues related to excessive use of gadgets or family stress. The article is recommended as a practical guide to effectively address sleep-related problems in children. Suggestions are also made to improve research and treatment approaches to sleep disorders.
